Framemaster was requested to change the drab appearance of an early 80’s modern house, along with improving the thermal and acoustic performance. We suggested the Reynaers Hidden Vent system with Tilt & Turn openers for the main house windows. This product would allow for complete symmetry across the home and allow us to minimise the amount of sections as bigger opening sections could be achieved.

The internal look of the window was important to the client so we suggested the exclusive Purity range of handles to give the home a unique finish. All windows achieved an A rating and all double glazed units were installed using an acoustic optiphon glass to achieve a greater decibel rating to minimise the road noise.

The conservatory was a trickier task as all standard ideas were soon dismissed and in the end we came up with a suitable solution that had never been created before. The ultra modern styling was achieved so chandeliers and internal cupboards for the kitchen had plenty of room at head height.

The front Porch was required to be a softer detail than the main conservatory as the home was meant to be inviting and warm and not as modern and stark as the rear conservatory, the insulated wood panelling and angled roof achieved this whilst at the same time offered the individuality the customer required.

Aluminium guttering in a black finish was also used throughout to rid the house of the gutter brackets as our Aluminium guttering allows for 40m runs to be created without a single join or any brackets on show.
